The highly anticipated digital release of Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2‘ is just around the corner! After wreaking havoc at the Indian box office, the film is all set to captivate audiences once again with its digital release on October 6.
Directed by Anil Sharma, the film marks Deol’s return to the beloved character Tara Singh from the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
Produced by Zee Studios, ‘Gadar 2’ reunites the stellar cast with Ameesha Patel reprising her role as Sakeena and Utkarsh Sharma returning as Charanjeet.The digital premiere announcement was shared by ZEE5 on its official platform, creating a buzz among fans and cinephiles alike. “The countdown begins! Tara Singh is all set to win your hearts!” read an offiial announcement on social media.
‘Gadar 2’ made its theatrical debut on August 11 and has since emerged as a colossal success at the box office, amassing approximately Rs 524 crore in earnings. This achievement is particularly noteworthy, considering it’s one of the most significant box office triumphs in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era.

‘Gadar 2’ has now secured its place as the second highest-grossing Hindi film in India. For a week, the film held the title of the highest grossing Hindi film with an impressive net collection of Rs 524.75 crore. However, it was beaten by Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Jawan.
‘Gadar 2’ currently holds the second spot on the list, which also includes Shah Rukh Khan’s spy action thriller ‘Pathaan‘ that released earlier this year in January. The film follows Tara Singh as he returns to Pakistan to rescue his imprisoned son. The film is set before the India-Pakistani War of 1971.
The film also stars Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, and Simrat Kaur in prominent roles.
