Now I’m curious: what’s your type? A few months ago, I sat next to a twenty-something girl on a bus. We casually chatted about her job and life, and she told me about her boyfriend. While her roommates gravitated toward ‘bad boys,’ she said she preferred “golden retriever guys,” which she defined as sweet, funny, loyal people who you always want around. Don’t you love that?
When I think back on my past boyfriends, their looks are all over the map — tall, short, bookish, athletic, baby-faced, angular, quiet, chatty, muscular, soft, one had abs you could run your hand down like a washboard nbd — but the thing they all had in common? They were all very sweet. I guess my type is golden retrievers, too.
