UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: The timetable has been officially released; here’s how you can check. Know step-by-step process.
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Exam is one of the toughest entrance examinations in the country, and also one of the most prestigious ones. Thousands of candidates apply for these papers, with the intention to clear the tough process and get into government services but only about 25 percent of them qualify. Speaking of the Indian Forest Services Exams, UPSC has released the final exam dates for the UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023. The exams will begin after Diwali, from November 26, 2023 and the complete exam schedule can be downloaded from the official website- upsc.gov.in.
UPSC IFS Main 2023: Exam Dates
As mentioned earlier, the exam dates and complete schedule for UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023 has been released on the official website- upsc.gov.in. The exams will be held on November 26, 28, 29 and 30, 2023; exams will continue on December 1, 2 and 3, 2023. Eligible candidates can download the schedule from the website.
UPSC IFS Main 2023: Full Schedule
The examination will be conducted in two shifts; the morning session will be held between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift will begin at 2:30 PM and will go on till 5:30 PM. The IFS Paper will be held in Delhi, Chennai, Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Port Blair, Nagpur, Dispur (Guwahati) and Shimla. Find the full exam schedule below-

UPSC Exam Calendar For 2024
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the examination calendar for the year 2024. According to the calendar, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exams and the Indian Forest Service (IFS) on May 26, 2024 and the Civil Services Main Examination will be conducted on September 20. The application process for the CDS (I) 2024 and UPSC NDA will begin on December 20, 2023 and the last date for the same is January 9, 2024; the examinations will be held on April 21, 2024. On June 21, the UPSC Indian Engineering Service (IES) Preliminary Examination will be held and on March 10, the CISF Assistant Commandant EXE LDCE 2024 will be conducted. According to the exam calendar, the Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination will be held on February 18, 2023.
