Matthew Perry’s ex breaks silence: ‘He caused pain like I’d never known’

Unsurprisingly, our most read stories this week centred on Matthew Perry and his untimely death at the age of 54.

An investigation into how the actor died is ongoing, though early reports cited drowning, and could take weeks before cause of death is determined.

But following reports of Perry’s death, plenty of people came out to talk about what he meant to them, Mark Daniell reported, starting with his ex-fiancee, Molly Hurwitz.

Hurwitz broke her silence a few days after Perry was found dead at his Los Angeles home. She used the word “complicated” to describe their relationship, and revealed “he caused pain like I’d never known,” which doesn’t sound like it was the healthiest time. But she also expressed the “profound impact” Perry made on her life.

Then, there was former Saturday Night Live writer Kevin Brennan (who?) who thought it was hilarious to mock Perry’s death, writing on social media, “I do love it when junkies die.” And that’s all the space I will be wasting on this waste of space.

Sadly, Perry spoke about wanting kids in one of his last interviews, saying he thought he would “be a great father.”

But it was his last Instagram post, which was shared just five days before his death, that was eerie: a nighttime photo of himself lounging in a hot tub.

Paige Spiranac says her breasts have ‘gotten a lot bigger’

Paige Spiranac was blessed with a hefty bosom — but despite telling fans in the past that she has never gotten a boob job, she still gets questioned about it because of how they have changed over the years.

And by “changed,” we mean, “gotten bigger.”

Once again, Spiranac explained during a Q&A that yes indeed, her breasts have “gotten a lot bigger” — because she’s gained weight.

She understands the confusion but chalked it up to the human body being “a magical thing,” and that “they change depending on weight loss and weight gain.”

No more questions about breast augmentation, people. They’re real and they’re spectacular. (Where are my Seinfeld fans at?)

No matter the outcome of Monday's vote, Poilievre and the Conservatives will be the winners.

Justin Trudeau painted himself into a corner with his attempt to smooth things over with Atlantic Canada voters and halting the carbon tax for those on the East Coast.

Now he either has to explain why some Canadians matter more than others — or vote on Monday to expand the tax break to all Canadians.

It’s really a win-win for Pierre Poilievre, whose plan means that either the carbon tax pause is extended to everyone in the country, regardless of how they heat their homes, or Liberal and NDP MPs will need to stand and vote against that idea next week.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

If it’s the latter, how will Trudeau’s 76 MPs in Ontario, where home heating oil is barely used, explain to their voters that they rejected the idea of giving them a break at a time of high inflation and during an affordability crisis?

Depending how things unfold, either Trudeau or his caucus will look bad while Poilievre sits back and takes it all in.

‘BRING IT ON’: Poilievre’s reaction to criticism from PM goes viral

Last week, Justin Trudeau stood in parliament and attacked Pierre Poilievre on carbon prices and climate change.

Instead of responding with words, the Conservative Leader simply let his hands do the talking by gesturing in a way that was unmistakable: “Bring it on.”

All he needed was an apple to further his point.
