Despite a bum ankle, Draymond Green still ended up all over Golden State Warriors fans’ TV screens during Tuesday night’s season opener against the Suns thanks to a starring role in a new commercial from official NBA partner KIA.

The commercial — which debuted on the NBA’s opening night and is hawking a KIA Telluride SUV — features Green driving through the woods, finding a basketball, having an encounter with a wolf, then driving all the way back to what appears to be his gorgeous, sprawling mansion (Green reportedly owns a home in Los Angeles and a penthouse in the Bay Area) while the wolf chases the car. Once he pulls up to the house, the wolf is magically gone, he gets out of his car and gives the ball to his daughter, who then shoots it at a portable hoop positioned precariously on the edge of the property. She misses badly, the ball goes rolling down the side of the mountain and Green tells her she has to go with him to get the ball this time around.

A cinematic masterpiece if there ever was one.

As it turns out, though, the house isn’t Green’s at all.

A 37-acre Los Angeles County estate that’s located near the summit of the Malibu Coastal Range, the property is owned by long-time LA stuntpersons Doriana and Roger Richman, according to records reviewed by SFGATE, and appears to be used as a rental property for weddings, luxury car events and, now, TV commercials. The pair bought it for $1.7 million in 2017 and put on the market for $8.5 million earlier this year, but, according to RedFin, it never sold.

The property features a koi pond lit from above by a circular atrium, a private helicopter landing pad and parking for more than 30 cars.

No word on whether or not the very poorly placed basketball hoop was included.
