So it’s no surprise to hear a former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin declaring Swift is the only personality who can topple the Donald Trump train in 2024.

“This ends in one way. We are all Taylor Swift fans and, to be honest, if Donald Trump looks like he’s going to win, she’s just going to need to get in the race and defeat him once and for all because she’s probably the only person who can,” The View co-host Griffin, 34, said during an episode of The View: Behind the Table podcast this week.

Griffin acted as Trump’s communications director for nine months in 2020. The following year, she told Politico that she exited his administration because Trump refused to accept his election loss to President Joe Biden.

After Trump’s CNN town hall earlier this year, Griffin said his chat exposed him as a “raving lunatic.”

“America got to see who he is last night: a ranting, raving lunatic, who sided with Vladimir Putin,” Griffin said.

In response, Trump branded Griffin a “sleazebag” in a post to his Truth Social platform.

“Backbencher in the Trump Administration, Alyssa Farah, like so many other sleazebags, had only glowing reviews of the Trump Administration until long after she left,” Trump posting a video of Griffin praising the former president [via the New York Post].

“A loser then, and a loser now!” he swiped.

Her dig against Trump, who leads the field of Republican candidates running to front the party next year against incumbent Joe Biden, isn’t the first time she has hit at her ex-boss since she joined the show last year.

“I’ll never vote for Trump again, I’ve been clear on that,” she declared in April.

Griffin’s prediction that Swift would be Trump’s toughest political rival next year shows her influence goes far beyond the entertainment realm.

Last month, the Cruel Summer singer encouraged her followers to register to vote on National Voter Registration Day in an Instagram post.

“I’ve been so lucky to see so many of you guys at my U.S. shows recently. I’ve heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are,” Swift wrote. “Make sure you’re ready to use them in our elections this year!”

An hour after her post, traffic on Vote.org spiked by more than 1,200%, Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey told the Washington Post.

“Let’s just say her reputation for being a mastermind is very well-earned,” Nick Morrow, the website’s communications director posted on X afterwards.

Between X, Instagram and Facebook, Swift has around 450 million followers and she hasn’t been afraid to use her influence to sway her base against Trump.

During the 2018 midterm elections, Swift publicly backed two Democrats running in Tennessee.

“In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” Swift wrote.

After previously calling her “fantastic” and “terrific,” Trump was miffed at her endorsements. “Let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?”

In 2020, after Trump tweeted threats at George Floyd protestors in Minnesota, she accused the commander-in-chief of “stoking the fires of white supremacy” and promised to use her voice against him in that year’s presidential election.

“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? When the looting starts the shooting starts’???” the pop star tweeted.

She then tagged Trump and seethed: “We will vote you out in November.”

The message racked up millions of likes and became the 12-time Grammy winner’s most-liked post on the platform.

In a 2019 interview with The Guardian, Swift said Trump was “gaslighting the American public,” adding that “he thinks this is an autocracy.”

Her then-new outspokenness came after Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016. Following his win, Swift said she was “really remorseful” for not being more open with her political views that year.

More recently, Trump weighed in on the relationship brewing between Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during an interview with the Daily Caller.

“I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,” Trump said.

But after notching the most No. 1 albums by any woman in history and with her Eras trek destined to become the biggest-grossing concert tour ever, Swift doesn’t need to run to dent Trump’s popularity.

She just needs to make a social media post and let her legions of Swifties do the rest. It could pose a problem Trump won’t be able to shake off.
