Studio Ghibli released the English-dubbed trailer for ‘The Boy and the Heron’, the latest movie from Hayao Miyazaki, featuring voiceovers from Hollywood celebrities such as Robert Pattinson and Christian Bale.
The movie follows the journey of 12-year-old Mahito, who enters an abandoned town to search for his mother after finding out that she is still alive through a talking heron. The movie debuted in Japan in July and grossed over $72 million worldwide. It is the first feature film from Miyazaki in 10 years.

The trailer starts with Mark Hamil saying, “So, you made it. Have a seat.” Hamil is known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise. The trailer also showcases award-winning actor Christian Bale as Mahito’s father.
The gray heron will be played by Robert Pattinson, who is known for his role in the Twilight movies, while Mahito will be played by Luca Padovan, who rose to fame following his role as Paco in Netflix’s hit series ‘You’.
