DUBAI: A launch event for Spider-Man 2, the sequel to the 2018 video game, was held on Oct. 19 at Geekay Games in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, featuring various activities such as quizzes and giveaways.
The event started at 9 p.m. local time, and people queued in a long line to buy the game and the special limited-edition PS5 bundle.
“We are thrilled to showcase the exclusive midnight launch of Marvel Spider-Man 2 at Geekay stores, located at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai and Riyadh Park in Saudi Arabia. The much-awaited launch event had a great turnout, and we are grateful to host this moment for all the Spider-Man fans,” a representative of Geekay Games told Arab News Japan exclusively.
“Geekay would like to extend a warm thank you to our partners, Mall of the Emirates and Riyadh Park mall management, and most importantly, all the fans for making this event a great success. We look forward to hosting such exciting launches in the future,” he added.
Spider-Man 2 is available now on PS4 and PS5 with a full Arabic version, which includes Arabic voice acting, menus, and texts, in the Middle East region.
