The bike gets a sculpted fuel tank with 13 litres of fuel tank capacity and it gets traditional Triumph black powder-coated engine casings with gold anodised front forks. It gets round LED headlamps with DRLs and the bike uses the same main frame but the cycle parts have been changed. The Triumph Scrambler 400X gets green/white, red/black and black/silver colour options and Triumph is offering 25 additional optional accessories.
The Triumph Scrambler 400X is built on a new frame and a bolt-on rear subframe with a cast-aluminium swing arm. Suspension duties are taken care of by 43mm upside-down big-piston forks at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock unit at the rear with pre-load adjustment. Braking duties are handled by four-piston radial front brakes with a 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc. The Scrambler 400 X gets a 19-inch alloy wheel at the front and a 17-inch at the rear wrapped up in MRF Zapper Kurve rubber. The bike has a seat height of 835mm and weighs in at 179kg.
The Triumph Scrambler 400X will be powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine which produces 40hp of power at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
