During the strike, which began on July 14, union members are not allowed to promote any acting work under SAG-AFTRA’s contract rules.
“It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry,” Adams added. “So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here. And I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead.”
Adams played Markle’s on-screen love interest on the show — which ran for nine seasons — portraying legal associate Mike Ross. Markle left the Toronto-shot show in 2018 ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in one of the photos, Markle was seen in character as Rachel Zane lying upside down barefoot up in the air as she posed beside co-star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen. “I miss my friends,” Adams wrote.
Another post featured a carousel of shots with Markle, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Max Topplin and Gina Torres, with the caption, “Each and every one of them.”
The legal drama has become an unexpected streaming favourite since it hit Netflix in June. The following month, the nine-season drama, which aired from 2011 to 2019, broke a record on the streamer for total viewing time.
Earlier this week, Variety reported that the series had accumulated 2.5 billion minutes watched making it the No. 1 title on Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings for Aug. 28-Sept. 3 for the 11th week in a row.
