AMMAN: King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work team launched development projects in the Al-Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan on Sunday.
Part of the project aims to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees in the camp and improve their health by developing new clinics.
The KSrelief team was additionally briefed on the sports activities in the camp which are hosted in collaboration with the Saudi Football Federation. Male and female coaches are trained with hopes to grant them qualifications from the International Federation of Association Football to enhance their economic empowerment.
Food facilities were also assessed by the KSrelief team. The new project led by the relief center aims to provide food aid to refugees by distributing monthly electronic vouchers which can be used in shops and bakeries in the camp.
