The Hyundai IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition features a Gravity Gold matte paint scheme along with the Disney100 badging and emblems on the seat. It also has alloy wheels which are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse’s ears and it features a Disney-inspired front and rear door trim strip. Inside, the EV gets unique door trim, Disney100 embossed on the seats and armrest and a Disney-themed welcome screen whenever the car is turned on.
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition is expected to get the same powertrain options as the regular model. Globally, Hyundai offers the IONIQ 5 in two battery pack options – a 58 kWh and a 77.4 kWh. The smaller 58 kWh gets RWD with 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The bigger 77.4 kWh variant gets AWD which produces 320 bhp and 605 Nm of torque.
Hyundai launched the IONIQ 5 in India at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. The EV is available in a single variant and is priced at Rs 45.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV gets a a 72.6kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor which puts out 217hp and 350Nm of torque. The IONIQ 5 has an ARAI-certified range of 631km on a single charge and the battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.

In terms of features, the Ioniq 5 gets twin 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and the infotainment system, a heads-up display with augmented reality functions and ADAS tech. The EV also gets a vehicle-to-load function with an output of 3.6kW and Hyundai says it can power up electrical appliances like laptops and mobiles.
