Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and team ‘Fighter’ pay tribute to warriors on Air Force Day

‘Fighter‘ is touted as India’s first aerial actioner and it sees Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play an Air Force warrior for the first time. The actor is in a never-seen-before avatar in this one and the film is mounted on a very high scale. Siddharth Anandwho recently won a lot of accolades for ‘Pathaan’ and has worked with Hrithik in ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘WAR’ has made this one on a huge canvas.Which explains why, there’s been immense excitement for this one.
It’s Air Force Day today and on this occasion, the team of ‘Fighter’ has paid a tribute to the warriors since the film also revolves around that spirit. Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan shared a post which read, “They soar through our skies with pride & glory and carry with them an unwavering commitment to ensure our nation’s safety & security. This Air Force Day, team #Fighter salutes the Warriors of our glorious Indian Air Force! 🇮🇳 #JaiHind”

Interestingly, the first look of ‘Fighter’ was also unveiled on Independence day as everyone was filled with patriotism. The team shared this and wrote, “A salute to our glorious nation. Happy Independence Day!🇮🇳 #Fighter in theatres on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. #25thJanuary2024.”

Meanwhile, Deepika and Hrithik have just returned from Italy after shooting for two songs. Sidharth wanted to have a big dance number and a romantic track with this duo and both these songs have been shot at picturesque locations. ETimes had reported that Hrithik will be seen displaying some bare-body moves in the dance song.
‘Fighter’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi and this entire cast along with DP and Hrithik also shot for a dance number in Mumbai recently.
