TOKYO: The GLOBIS G1 Global Forum is taking place at Tokyo’s GLOBIS Hall and online and features several prominent speakers and leaders from around the world who looking to discuss and “paint a vision for the rebirth of Japan in a turbulent world.”

Arab News Editor-in-Chief Faisal Abbas is taking part in a discussion on “Transformative Leadership and Inclusive Growth in the Recent Middle East” at 15:15, Japan time. The discussion aims to look at the “profound influence of empowerment, with a spotlight on the advancement of women, and its pivotal function in molding a more inclusive and forward-thinking society.”

The purpose of G1 is to gather leaders and create networks, with the focus on Japan’s place in the world. At G1 meetings, people from the same generation who are active at the forefront of politics, economy, business, science, technology, and culture gather to discuss contemporary issues, acquire knowledge in a variety of fields and help each other grow as leaders.
