The footage shows the woman and Raymond Edwards, both in their 70s, keeping a look-out for each other as they allegedly key at least two cars in Mitchelton on an unknown date.
The video was recorded by the Tesla, with the car’s cameras automatically recording when “suspicious motion is detected”, according to the company’s website.
The Tesla owner, who did not want to be identified, told 7NEWS they had been quoted almost $2000 to fix the damage.
Brookside manager Greg Plawecki said he was “very disappointed, very unhappy that it happened”.
“Obviously, when something wrong is being doe, especially when there’s a crime being committed, we obviously don’t approve of it,” he said.
“We help police deal with it. We’ve got our own security, CCTV to help find and deal with crimes if it happens.”
Raymond Edwards has been charged with two counts of wilful damage and is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 11.
The woman has yet to be charged.
