The Multistrada V4 Rally is powered by a 1,158cc, liquid-cooled V4 engine, which belts out 170 hp and 125 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and features a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts. The motorcycle gets four riding modes, namely, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro.
For suspension duties, it gets an electronic Marzocchi-sourced Skyhook Suspension (DSS) on both ends with 200mm of travel. Ducati has also introduced a new off-road power mode, which limits the power to 115 hp, making the beast easier to tame when off the tarmac.
Other features include a 6.5-inch TFT cluster with map navigation, phone calls and music playback when used with a helmet equipped with an intercom system, cornering ABS, Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC), all finely tuned based on the vehicle’s lean and pitch angles using a Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Additional amenities include engine brake control (EBC) and hands-free ignition.
