Trolls and the entertainment industry have a bond that no one can unsee. It doesn’t matter what one does or wears, the troll parade always stays in place to attack at every opportunity they get. Speaking on the topic, Bhumi Pednekar expressed how she has turned thick-skinned towards the trolls.

Since her childhood, she had had enough comments that she would look more beautiful if she lost a few kilos, and questioned about her short dresses. On top of that, the actress took the liberty to call the trolls hypocrites. They talk a big game of protecting and preserving the culture but use the most culturally inappropriate language to share their opinions. She added that our culture is all about respecting women and minding our conduct around them. Pointing at her co-artist Shehnaaz Gill, Bhoomi further mentioned that Sana is brave enough to read through those comments, but she can’t bring herself to do so, and thus, she avoids reading anything at all.
Even when Bhumi gained weight for her debut film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and continued to wear clothes like she did earlier, she faced really unkind and hurtful comments. However, that helped ignite a fire in her, and now things like these don’t bother her.
