Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gifted his mother “Noorie” on Tuesday. He gave his mother a three-month-old Jack Russell Terrier puppy on World Animals Day. On October 4, World Animals Day is observed to create awareness of the diversity of life around us.
He has shared the video of the heartwarming moment on his YouTube channel. “I made a quick visit to Goa to get Ma a new friend,” the video begins as Rahul visits a home in Goa where he meets two puppies in North Goa’s Mapusa.”There is one girl and one boy!”
On his way to Delhi, Rahul is seen interacting with fellow passengers. he then turns up at their residence where he introduces the puppy to his mother.
“She is so cute,” Sonia says.

Later in the video, we see an elated Noorie running around the house, playing with a mobile cover and snuggling under a blanket.
“I’d like you all to meet the newest and the cutest member of our family – our li’l pup, Noorie.
She flew in from Goa straight into our arms and has become the light of our lives. Unconditional love and uncompromising loyalty – there is so much this beautiful animal can teach us!” : Rahul has captioned the video.
