Ross, who is trans, said Roberts, 32, misgendered her on the set of the Ryan Murphy series in a social media rant earlier this week.

In an Instagram Live, Ross told her followers that she was left with her “blood boiling” after Roberts had inferred she was the only woman during a break in filming AHS: 1984 several years ago.

Ross claimed she was “standing in front of Emma talking to her” when Roberts said to the show’s director John J. Gray, “Angelica’s being mean.”

Gray then told the two actresses, “‘OK, ladies, that’s enough, let’s get back to work.’ And (Roberts) then looks at me and goes, ‘Don’t you mean lady?’ And she turns around like this and covers her mouth. I’m staring at her, looking her dead ass in the (camera), and I’m like, trying to process the f— she just said.” ”

The exchange left Ross fuming.

“Like, what the f— did you just say?” Ross recalled. “I’m standing there, she walked away, my blood is boiling. Boiling because I’m like, if I say something, it’s gonna be me that’s the problem. And I know this because there was someone who spoke up about what she was doing and they got repercussions from it. Not her — they did.”

The Pose alum said she didn’t speak to Roberts afterwards.

“She said to me she could feel the energy coming off of me. She was like, ‘Are you OK? You haven’t been talking.’ I’m like, ‘Mmhmm,’ Cause bitch don’t play me. You’ve been playing mind games with everybody on the set and everybody’s been waiting for the moment that you would get me.”

While Ross only referred to Roberts as “Emma” and “Ms. E.R.,” many followers on social media took her accusations to mean Emma Roberts.

Ross also accused Roberts of mocking her voice. “We’re all sitting around & I’m copying Cody (Fern’s) accent,” Ross wrote. “Didn’t know he had one. Emma then copies my voice & laugh and drops it several octaves. I was SHOOK … of course I was self-conscious about my voice on set after that.”

Roberts, who will appear in a new instalment of the anthology series alongside Kim Kardashian — AHS: Delicate, eventually saw the drama unfolding on social media and called Ross to apologize.

“Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behaviour was not that of an ally,” Ross shared with fans. “I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform.”
